"Bronze Goddess - Bronze"
|
This one-of-a-kind sculpture was individually sculpted from a solid lump of clay. A rubber mold was made of it and the wax piece was textured and fine-tuned. Then the "Lost Wax Method" used to produce the bronze. After the bronze cooled, the sculpture was chased, fettled, and a patina applied. Finally, the sculpture was waxed and buffed.

"Twisted Sisters - Redwood"

This one-of-a-kind sculpture was individually carved from a solid block of redwood. The block was cut into 3 pieces, each carved into the three separated "sisters" and stained a different color of wood stain. The base was made from another piece of redwood and stained with wood stain.

"Bi-limbic Ritual - Ceramic"

This unique sculpture was individually hand-made using flattened coil clay construction techniques. When it dried, it was sanded then bisque fired, coated with a glaze and high fired. Next several wood stains and a coating of varnish was applied to the finished sculpture.

"Whale Tail - Ceramic"

This unique sculpture was individually hand-made using flattened coil clay construction techniques. When it dried, it was sanded then bisque fired. A coating of red iron oxide was applied to the sculpture then sponged off. Finally the sculpture was high fired.
